Jette Lynn likes to go for walks around our apartment complex and look at the pool. It was just a few months ago she was swimming several times a week. She definitely misses it. I'm starting to feel a little better and just in time for Spring here. It's been around 70 the past couple weeks. I'm trying to get out and enjoy it while I can because any day it will jump up to 90 and then 120. Our last summer here. YEAH!!!

Jette Lynn adds new words to her vocabulary everyday, some more mumbled than others. It makes it nice for meal times. She can tell me if she wants a nana, cackuh, gape, chee, etc. Although sometimes she changes her mind as I'm getting it out. She loves Elmo (she says "Melmo")and Sesame Street. She loves to look at books and can point out different objects. She can make animal sounds or name the animals. She's figured out jumping and looks so funny trying.

We finally got the internet transferred over to our new apartment after 3 visits from the cable company over a couple weeks time. Yikes. I'm so glad to be online again.

Anyway, we don't see much of Rory, but we just take it a semester at time. He turns 30 this weekend. We can't believe it. Are we that old? Hee, hee.

First Kicks

I have been feeling sick and bloated the past few months. Tonight, though, I felt some kicks for a few minutes and know for sure there's a little baby in there. It was a neat moment all by myself since Rory's at a night class and Jette Lynn's sleeping. I'm in the 16th week.

Here we go...

After being asked to join myspace, zorpia, xanga, etc. I have decided to go with blogspot. My mass emails of Jette Lynn are a thing of the past I guess. I wonder if I should have named this whole thing after her since I have a feeling Rory and I won't be mentioned quite as often. What can I say? We're not nearly as cute or funny.
